Hi, I’m Jessica—the photographer behind Jessica Life Photography here in Jacksonville, FL. I specialize in child photography and absolutely love getting silly with the kids to capture their most genuine smiles. I’ve been photographing preschoolers since 2014, and over the years, it’s become one of my greatest joys.
I work closely with school staff to create a fun and stress-free photo experience for every child. One of the best parts? There’s no need for parents to prepay or guess how many photos they’ll want ahead of time. Once the photos are ready, parents can easily view them through my online ordering system, choose their favorites, and have everything delivered right to their door. Simple, joyful, and made with love.
Your Affordable Jacksonville Preschool Photography Process
The process is simple; all aspects of the portrait experience are handled by me, including most parent communication, online viewing, ordering, printing, and payment. After discussing the needs of your school, we will schedule your center's Picture Day! You will be asked to complete an online form with the class and student roster.
On Picture Day, your photographer will arrive at 8 am to set up. The children will be escorted by one of your staff members to the photo location. Children are photographed with their personal QR card individually and with any siblings. Cards are then sent home with each child.
After Picture Day, photos are processed and added into private, password-protected galleries. Parents are sent an email with all information on how to access their child's photos. Portrait orders are delivered directly to the parent's home.
At no cost to your center, I will set up a backdrop complete with seating, props, and studio lights and photograph all of your children on picture day. Your daycare center will also receive complimentary headshots for staff and a 50% off coupon for a family photo session.

What to Expect: Jacksonville Preschool Photography
Before Picture Day
To ensure a smooth process, be sure your center roster has been uploaded into the Preschool Center Portal. Verify children are fed. We will start off with a short introduction and gauge their reactions. We'll then direct them to the backdrop and move through a series of quick, successive pose requests to make a unique photo session for each child. We will never force a child into a position they are unable or uncomfortable with. Once our session is complete, we thank them for doing a wonderful job and send them back to class.
After Picture Day
Once every student is photographed, We pack up our backdrop and take the images home to process them. When the photos are ready (within 2 weeks) parents are sent an email with a private link to access their child/children's photo galleries. All orders will be shipped directly to the parent's homes.

Is there a minimum number of students needed?
I require a minimum of 20 children, however I can accommodate smaller groups if needed.
What age range of students do you photograph?
I specialize in preschool and daycare portraits, so the primary age group is ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
Is the center charged for Picture Day?
No, there is not a fee charged to the center. In fact, the center earns money from these Picture Days.
The center will receive staff headshots at no charge as well as 50% off coupons for Family Photo sessions.
FAQ The Day of Picture Day
Do you take photos of siblings?
Yes, of course. All students who have a sibling will be photographed together and separate.
How long does each child's photo session take?
Depending on the age of the child, anywhere from a minute or two to several minutes.
Because every attempt is made to get personal with the children and to capture authentic smiles, there is no “assembly line” type structure to school photos with me. Every student and sibling group gets their own little mini session!
When do you schedule Picture Days?
Picture Days are typically scheduled on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Depending on the number of students at your school and their age ranges, 2 days may be scheduled to ensure all students have the opportunity for super cute photos.
How many poses does each child get?
My goal is for each child to have his/her own mini-session. I go through a series of standing, sitting, and prop poses. Each child typically has 5 different poses to choose from; depending on the willingness of the child.

How do parents place orders?
Each school receives a beautiful, easy-to-use online website that showcases each child's photos in individually password-protected online galleries. Parents order right from the gallery. Parents can even view sibling galleries and check out all at once.
How long does it take for photos to arrive?
All orders are shipped right to the parent's homes.
